"Crossed" is a story of an anonymous and suicidal Briton bent on vengeance on an Englishman. Just as he is about to assassinate this man, the Briton realizes it is not the man he was looking for and as he is caught by an accompanying knight, he begs the knight to kill him. The knight accompanying the Englishman (who turns out to be the commander of the upcoming Fourth Crusade) refuses to kill him and instead takes him to his tent where he informs the Briton that he will be going on Crusade. ...continue reading...
